How to measure your Dogue de Bordeaux for good fit Collar:
READ THIS BEFORE MEASURING YOUR DOGUE DE BORDEAUX!
- The collar will fit neck size on the central hole (the 3d one).
- The total number of holes will be 5 with 1 inch (25 mm) distance between each two of them.
- It means, for example, that if your dog’s neck size is 20 inches (50 cm), you will adjust the collar to it using central (3d) hole.
- You will have 2 smaller size holes to adjust the collar for 18 inch (45 cm) and 19 inch (47.5 cm) neck size.
- You will also have 2 bigger size holes to adjust the collar for 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inch (55 cm) neck size.
- The tip of the collar (measuring after the last hole) will be 2 inch (5 cm) long.
- As those are handcrafted collars, some sizes may differ a little (not in a significant way).
- 2 ply leather collars and padded leather collars are 1 inch bigger to make sure that it will fit your dog.
We wish you never have such situations in which your dog’s ID tag will be used, so we’ve designed this collar as a luxurious piece of your dog’s wardrobe. The style of this collar is nobly reserved - just a wide full grain leather strap of a very high quality and a beautiful shining ID plate at the side - a small detail which adds charm to the whole item.
The hardware is made of nickel plated steel. It is rustproof so it’s gloss won’t be spoiled by rust.
Leather is perfectly oiled and there is no side stitching, so the edges are smooth and won’t fray.
Use water repellent and leather conditioner to control the level of humidity in genuine leather and enjoy long service of this collar, but before, please, follow our advice to measure your Dogue de Bordeaux correctly and to choose best fitting collar for him.
